Dear Editor,
Nothing can be more horrifying that subjecting that a 25-year-old Subzar Ahmad Koka, son of Muhammad Afzal Koka, resident of Melhora Shopian riding a motorcycle was crushed to death by a speedy truck (JK02AP7455) in Sangam area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district national highway. Later on he was taken to SDH Bijbehara for medico-legal formalities. Besides it there are several incidents, which involved migrant workers and stranded poor people they walk the highway of the country with torn and bloodied feet, backs bent under the weight of their pitiful belongings, eyes dimmed by loss of hope thousands of them were crushed to death by the buses and trains in recent days since the nationwide lockdown was imposed in the country. Frankly I am baffled in this regard, why the people don't care poor and stranded people who have to walk on foot. It is deeply concerned about this matter that the government should take any strict step against crushers, so that such fatal accidents should not take place, because every soul is precious in this world.
