‘Faux tweet being circulated on J&K’

NEW DELHI, Jun 30: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday mentioned {that a} faux tweet is being circulated within the title Home Minister Amit Shah on web and cell curbs in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
The faux tweet mentioned that fixed-line broadband and web in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh shall be stopped.“A tweet is circulating in the name of Union Home Minister mentioning fixed-line broadband and internet in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to be snapped. This tweet is fake. No such tweet has been done from Union Home Minister’s twitter handle,” house ministry spokesperson tweeted.
The tweet said, “Fixed Line Broadband and Mobile Internet services to be snapped in the UT J&K and Ladakh from tonight.”On May 9, 4 folks have been detained in Gujarat for spreading a faux tweet concerning the well being of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
