Quota to Gurjars, other backwards up from 1% to 5% in Rajasthan judicial services

NEW DELHI, Aug 3: On the initiative of Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot, the state cabinet has amended the Rajasthan judicial services rules to increase reservation to Gurjars and other backwards from 1% to 5%.
This will benefit the most backward communities like Gurjars, RaikaRabari, Gadia-Luhar, Banjara, Gadaria and others.
Gehlot on Monday twitted a photograph of minister Ashok Chandna, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasara, andd MLAs Rajendra Vidhudi, Joginder Awana, Jitendra Singh and Mrs Shakuntala Ravat thanking him for the decision.
He also twitted another photograph of celebrating the festival of Raksha Bandhan with the party MLAs camping in a Jaisalmer hotel.
Rebel Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Monday tweeted greetings to the people of Rajasthan and the country on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
