AAP's ex-councillor arrested

NEW DELHI, Aug 31: The Enforcement Directorate on Monday announced arrest of Tahil Hussain, a former AamAadmi Party councillor, Delhi in connection with alleged funding of the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act and riots in northeast Delhi in February. AAP had suspended him since after he was arrested for the first time by Delhi Police in February.
He has been remanded to ED custody for six days. His interrogations showed that the riots were pre-planned and organised by different bodies. He has been booked in 10 criminal cases. He has, however, denied all charges and said that he never participated in the riots.
