SRINAGAR, Sep 17: International Forum for Justice and Human Rights chairman, Muhammad
Ahsan Untoo, has sharply reacted to what he called “the cold-blooded murder of Irfan Ahmed Dar in custody” in Sopore on Wednesday.
In a statement, Untoo said, “the killers never value a human life and create fear among the youth.” He said that lies are being manufactured by the security forces to hide their crimes.
“To add insult to the injury, the forces have denied the right of burial also which is a grave insult and interference in the religious matters,” he said.
He said that he would be approaching the UN Human Rights Council, Amnesty International and Human Right Watch to apprise them of the situation.
