NEW DELHI, Sep 23: Parents in Delhi can watch their children live in both government and private schools that are slated to reopen on October 5.
The Arvind Kejriwal government claims Delhi becomes the first state to install the CCTV cameras in schools to remove the fear of the parents in sending their wards to schools in view of the Coronavirus pandemic still continuing.
Parents are asked to download free App DGS live on their Android-based mobiles to get the live coverage of classes as also the school premises and gates. The government has asked the schools to install 150 to 200 CCTV cameras as necessary to provide full coverage. The APP requires the login ID and password.
While some states started the schools from September 21, Delhi is among the states that delayed their reopening till October 5 and ordered sanitation of the schools before the students start coming.
