196 pairs of festival trains from Oct 20 to Nov 30

NEW DELHI, Oct 13: The Railway Ministry on Tuesday released a list of 196 pairs of the Festival Special Trains to be run from October 20 to November 30 to clear the festival rush, with the same fare that is applicable to a host of special trains launched on lifting of the Corona-induced Lockdown.
Most of them are weekly, bi-weekly or tri-weekly while only some are dailies. The list so released may not be discernible to the general public as instead of giving names of the stations between which they will run, the ministry has used the codes of the stations that will confuse more than help.
The list is also the train numbers which are not the usual train numbers but designated specially that nobody can decipher.
