Against socio-political aspirations: Yaseen

Srinagar Oct, 27 : Chairman People's Democratic Front (PDF ) Hakeem Yaseen has expressed concern over the new land laws adding that entire Jammu and Kashmir has been put on sale by virtue of the new notification about land ownership laws.
"Since the matter about revocation of the statehood, Art. 370 and Art 35-A was subjudice, the Center should take back the controversial notification , till the final verdict comes from Supreme Court, " Hakeem Yaseen maintained.
In a statement, Hakeem Yaseen said that notification about new land laws was totally against the socio- political aspirations of the common masses adding that all the people of Jammu and Kashmir, cutting across their individual, political, religious and regional affiliations, want safegaurds to their domicile rights on land, jobs and statehood as guaranteed under the Constitution of India.
PDF Chairman said that issuance of new notification on land laws in Jammu and Kashmir have come as a bolt from blue for the people who take it as another rude betrayal of promises made by the Central leadership about protection of their basic constitutional rights. He has urged the Center to respect socio-political aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to win their hearts and minds adding that tinkering with the constitutional rights of the people would only add to the prevailing atmosphere of mistrust and alienation.
