Residential House Collapsed Due to Snowfall

SRINAGAR, Jan 25: A residential house collapsed on Saturday night due to light snowfall in Rainawari Khojyaarbal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
According to the CNS, the residential house damaged due to snowfall belong to Gul Mohammad Sofi, son of Bashir Ah Sofi.
An official said that there were luckily no casualties in the mishap, as the neighbours reached the spot immediately and rescued the families.
The house owner appealed the concerned authorities for the assistance. He also added that as the area comes under the LAWDA, so he appealed LAWDA authorities to issue immediate permission for the renovation as the house isn’t suitable to reside due to the huge cracks.
