Man dies after his SUV turns turtle in Kulgam

SRINAGAR, Feb 20: A man died on the spot after the SUV vehicle which he was driving turned turtle in Yaripora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses told CNS that the man driving Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK01Q-7999 lost control over the vehicle and it turned turtle which led to his death on the spot.
The deceased person was identified as Tariq Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Abass Bhat, a resident of Manchwa.
Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered, a senior police official said.
He added that after the fulfilment of the legal formalities, the body will be handed over to his family for carrying out his last rites. However, according to CNS reporter Kulgam “A Scorpio under registration number JK01Q-7999 overturned and fell into a deep ravine at Gaffan Turn near Yaripora, a suburb of Kulgam resulting on spot death of Tariq Ahmed Butt and injuries to his father Muhammad Abbas Butt, a resident of Manchho.
Although the people present at the scene admitted him to the local hospital, but the doctors declared Tariq Ahmed Butt dead while the condition of Muhammad Abbas Butt is said to be out of danger, the police registered a case and started investigation.
