Haryana firm gets JK Bank’s security contract

JAMMU, Feb 22: A Gurugram based ‘Security and facility management service provider’, Tenon has “secured a contract for facility management with Jammu & Kashmir Bank across the Kashmir region”, a press release of the company said.
It also said that the company has been already operating security services in the region of Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir.
“Tenon has deployed more than 1100 highly trained housekeeping & FM staff in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir, who are known for their professional & tech-oriented integrated facility management solutions,” the release further added.
Set up in 1995, the Tenon Group of companies - a homegrown conglomerate comprising three companies Tenon FM, Peregrine Guarding and Soteria – deals with private security and facility management.
It is headed by an ex-army and police officer, Major Manjit Rajain. His son, Anuj Rajain is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Soteria, one of India’s leading remote surveillance solution providers.
According to the company’s release, Major Manjit Rajain, Group Chairman, Tenon Group of company said, “We are delighted to welcome J&K Bank on board for our set of facility management services. FM entails multiple disciplines to ensure a smooth and efficient functioning of the work facility and its environment by the comprehensive integration of human resource, systems and technology. We are well equipped to provide housekeeping services and gamut of full-range Hygiene, Engineering support and Specialized services such as Building Engineering Operations & Critical Environment and O&M services. We also provide sustainable solutions to protect the workplace environment that delivers quality and efficiency without compromising on health and safety.”
The company’s Global CEO is Brigadier Rajan Oberoi, also an Indian Army veteran. During his tenure with the Army, Brig. Oberoi was tasked with the responsibility to raise the first combat elements of the National Security Guards – The “Black Cats”, and subsequently went on to head the elite counter-terrorist outfit as their “Force Commander”.
