Leopard cub caught by labourers in Dooru

ANANTNAG, Feb 24: A leopard cub caught by local residents in AramporaDooru village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
As per reports a leopard cub which was roaming in the area, spotted by locals in AramporaDooru Wednesday afternoon. Locals immediately inform Wildlife Department. A team of wildlife casual labours reached the spot and caught leopard cub.
A wildlife official, meanwhile, said that the department has asked its men to remain alert as there was the possibility of the leopardess, mother of the cubs, searching for them.
“We have asked the concerned officials to remain alert and vigilant to capture the female leopard who might be roaming in the area in search of the two cubs,” the official added.
