JKBOSE Class 10th results out, 75% pass

SRINAGAR, Feb 26: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) has today announced the JKBOSE 10th Result 2020 for annual exam held for regular students from Kashmir Division.
Like previous years, girls outshone boys with both better pass percentage and in bagging positions.
The overall pass percentage has been reported at 75%. Of this, in the gender-wise break-up of the pass percentage, girl students have secured 76.09% success ratio while boys have had marginally lower success at 74.04%.
As per JKBOSE figures, as many as 75132 students- 38340 Boys and 36792 Girls had appeared in the exams out of which 56384 students have been declared as qualified. Also, 18626 students have been declared as not qualified.
The government schools have also fared better this year as 62.76 percent students out of total 41,026 who appeared in the examination cleared it. Also, 89.82 percent students out of 34106 from private education institutes passed the examination, they added.
Ten out of seventeen students who shared the first position were girls.
The first position holders include Rutba Javeed, Toiba Showkat, Noor‐Us‐Sabah, Gousia Farooq, Tayibah Anjum, Ibtisaam Naseer Tahir, Rounaq Dilshad, Tabasum Gulzar, Seerat Bashir, Jazib Javeed, Umer Manzoor, Tabiya Fayaz, Sadaf Rashid, Khujasta Younis, Anas Amin Mir, Suhaib Ahmad Reshi, Aatiq Javed Khan.
73 students shared second position with 498 marks while 13 shared the third position with 497 marks, the official said.
JKBOSE announced that students could check their individual results by logging onto the board’s website i.e. jkbose.ac.in. However, many students this morning complained that when they tried to check their JKBOSE 10th Result 2020 online via the official portal, they were unable to log onto the website to do so. However, the problem that appeared to have happened due to a technical stag and heavy web traffic was resolved later in the day.
