Several political activists join Apni Party

BARAMULLA, Sep 11: Several prominent political activists of Apni Party and other parties from Baramulla joined the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference party on Saturday.
They were welcomed into the party fold by PC President Mr. Sajad Gani Lone, according to news agency, KNS. PC Vice President Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil, senior leaders Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Mir and Bashir Ahmad Dar were also present on the occasion.
Those who joined the party include Ghulam Mohammad Mir, BDC Chairman from Kangroosa Rafiabad, Tasleema Akther, Runner up DDC candidate from Dangiwacha, Rafiabad and Khursheed Ahmed Lone, DDC contesting candidate from Zanger Sopore. They were accompanied by dozens of workers and supporters.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, PC Chairman Sajad Gani Lone said that their joining will immensely benefit the PC in emerging as a formidable political force.
“I whole-heartedly welcome all of you into the Peoples Conference. The PC wants to play a pivotal role and contribute to the politics, development and welfare of J&K. We have already emerged as a formidable political force and will do everything possible to take the people of J&K out of the current impasse. I am hopeful that all of you will continue to work for the cause of the people and further strengthen the party among the masses”, he said.
The new entrants pledged to work with utmost honesty, diligence and passion to strengthen the party. They expressed full faith and confidence in the vision and leadership of the Peoples Conference to address the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and help them navigate through these extraordinary and troubled times.
