3 overseas, 2 local commentators for series against Zimbabwe

MUMBAI, Jan 15: Three overseas and two local commentators have been hired by the Innovative Production Group (IPG), the company holding rights to telecast matches in Sri Lanka, it is learnt.
According to the sources in the SLC (Sri Lanka Cricket), the three overseas commentators are: Sikander Bakht (Pakistan), Jon Kent (South Africa) and Tino Mawoyo. (Zimbabwe).
The local commentators are: Roshan Abeysinghe and Farvez Mahroof.
Except Jon Kent, the other commentators are regular in the commentary panel for the bilateral series and the LPL (Lanka Premier League) in Sri Lanka.
The foreigners have already reached Kandy.
The panel has been approved by the SLC.
Russel Arnold, the popular voice in Sri Lanka is not in the panel. He was supposed to go to Oman to participate in the Legends League, however, he has confirmed pulling out from the tournament.
