DPS Swimmers excel in swimming competition

JAMMU, July 31: The students of Delhi Public School Jammu have won 7 gold medals in the State Level Inter District Swimming Competition held at Jodhamal Public School, Jammu.
The swimming competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K, Jammu.
A special assembly was organized in the school to felicitate the students who won the gold medals. The medals winner includes Master Sanand Sharma (3 gold) and Sidhant Sharma (4 gold).
Kulbir Handa, Deputy Superintendent of Police was the guest of honour.
Addl. Director, Principal of the School Dr. D. Joseph congratulated to all the medal winners for bringing laurels to the school and their parents.
She also appreciated the efforts of the swimming coach Ravinder Singh Deonia for training the students properly.
Speaking on the occasion, SS Sodhi, Director Delhi Public School, Jammu lauded the efforts of the students, their parents and the coach for encouraging the students to participate in the various games. He also congratulated to ail the winners of Gold medals and blessed them for their bright future.
M.K Ajatshatru Singh , President Rajput Charitable Trust J&K, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Pro- Vice Chairperson Delhi Public School Jammu also conveyed their congratulations to the winners of gold medals in swimming competition and expressed that the bright students who are interested in games will be supported in ail respects by the School Management for their bright future.
