Trishul Division organizes Medical camp at Hemiya

LEH, Oct 10: Army’s Trishul Division conducted a ‘Medical & Veterinary Camp’ in village Hemiya for the treatment of local villagers and their live stocks. The camp aimed at enhancing the awareness of the locals about their health, sanitation, diseases due to weather change and treatment of their livestock. During the camp free medicines were also distributed to the villagers. Animals and livestock were treated by the veterinary officers.
The Trishul Division in conjunction with the civil administration has been taking up numerous projects to provide basic amenities to the civil population in remote areas of Eastern Ladakh, which include Med & Vet Camps, National Integration tours, running Women Empowerment Centers, Audit Literacy Centers and various others all aimed to ensure better living standards.
