SMHS Hospital starts Radiation Oncology Service

Patients to report from Monday Oct 13

SRINAGAR, Oct 10: As per the statement of Principal, GMC, Srinagar, the Department of Radiation Oncology of SMHS Hospital has been made functional. The services including OPD for registration of new cancer patients, follow up services, ward services for adjuant and neo adjuant chemotherapy, Day Care chemotherapy and supportive care services will be started from Monday Oct 13, 2014. However, 55 patients, who are presently receiving radiotherapy at SKIMS, will continue treatment at SKIMS till the radiotherapy treatment gets functional in the hospital, the statement said.
