1 dies, 5 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Oct 10: One person died while five others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK07–2404 driven by Bashir Ahmad son of Haji Abdullah resident of Tambis meet with an accident near Lal Chowk Kargil, resulting in on spot death of Mohammad Asgar son of Mohammad Abbas resident of Pashkun Kargil. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09-6222 and a load carrier bearing registration number JK09-0957 collided at Tikker, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kupwara, resulting in injuries to 04 passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
An unknown Tata magic vehicle hit and injured a boy Faisal Ahmad Payer son of Irshad Ahmad Payer resident of Salkoot at Salkoot, in the jurisdiction of Police Staiton Kupwara. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment where from he was referred to Srinagar for further treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
