Passport office Srinagar to receive applications from Oct 15

SRINAGAR, Oct 14: The Passport Office Srinagar, which has started functioning from October 13, 2014, will start receiving applications from tomorrow manually, online.
According to Passport Officer Srinagar, the functioning of RPO has been restarted from October 13, 2014 and intending applicants can now submit applications for fresh passports under normal category on all working days from October 15, 2014 between 9.00 AM to 11 AM. Applicants should carry Passport Application Forms along with the original and self attested photocopies of the required documents, one recent colored passport-size photograph (with white background) affixed on the form and the applicable fees in Cash /Demand Draft favouring Passport Officer, Srinagar payable at Srinagar.

Intending applicants have been asked to download and print the Passport Application form using the option “Print Application Form” under Forms and Affidavits available on the Passport portal. Applicants also have the option of filling up the form online. The Passport Application form can then be printed through the link “View/Print Submitted Form” on view saved/submitted applications page after selecting the ARN number for which form has been submitted. In case fee has been paid online, a copy of the fee payment receipt needs to be submitted along with other documents.
