Bhaderwah College wins, Ramnagar tasted defeat

JAMMU , Feb 5 :Government Degree College Bhaderwah cricket teams brought laurels for the Chenab valley by performing brilliantly in the Inter-college cricket tournaments held at Jammu University today by defeating Govt Degree College ,Ramnagar in final.
In the Inter College Cricket tournament held at Jammu University in which 28 teams of Jammu Province participated ,Bhaderwah College team won the event.
In the final match Bhaderwah college defeated Ramnagar ,the tournament were held under the banner of Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu on the campus ground. Ramnagar won the toss n elected to bat .They scored 80/7 in 20 overs and GDC Bhaderwah chased down the score in 9.2 overs with 8 wickets in hand.Bhuran Ganai took 11 wickets where as Usman Najar make 120 runs in whole tournament .
Five players of Bhaderwah were elected for inter university tournament which included Bhuran Ganai , Manjeet Kotwal , Usman Najar , Babar Nissar and Mubasher Nisar where as Bhuran Ganai Captain of the team and Manjeet Kotwal were elected for coaching to IPL King Punjab 11 . It is after 60 years that Bhaderwah team won the inter college cricket tournament.
