Obama’s visit: India’s gain or loss?
Kashmir Times. Dated: 2/8/2015 11:10:31 PM
Dear Editor
US has instantly exhibited its ‘equal’ closeness with Pakistan and India by announcing an additional $ one-billion (Rupees six thousand crores) aid to Pakistan evidently for compensating a depressed Pakistan after a hi-fi India-visit of US President Barrack Obama.
World’s only hyper-power US has once again proved that it can never be a trusted friend against militancy because rather than pressurising Pakistan by stopping all US aid till militant-activities from Pakistani soil are effectively checked, it in its please-all policy has pleased Pakistan by huge additional $ one-billion aid to terrorism-generating country.
US is the only hyper-power country in the world which is practically in all aspects capable to effectively control militancy-heaven Pakistan. Well established proof is US planes entering Pakistan uninformed to capture US biggest enemy Osama-Bin-Laden with Pakistan not daring to even raise a voice of dissent against US. Any ‘tough’ talk by US against militant activities emerging from Pakistani soil is simply lip-talk even despite the fact that US itself suffered heavily from militant-activities generated from Pakistani soil.
If US would have assisted India in IC-814 hijack episode, perhaps 9/11 attack on US would not have taken place.
