Horker Poyen Lifts Soth Archery title 2015

KARGIL, Mar 8: Horker Poyen lifted the Soth area Archery Competition 2015 by defeating Horker Apatee C by 5 points at Archery Stadium Shakmakila Soth.
In this tournament 36 team from Hundarmna to Sarchey participated which started from 28th of Feb 2015.
On this occasion Commander 121 Infantry Brigade Brigadier VPS Kaushik was the Chief Guest and SSP Kargil Dr Shalindra Mishra was the guest of honour and others present include, Col Jamwal, Dy Sp Abdul Khaliq, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho, sarpanches and panches of Soth region and hundreds of villagers witnessed the final.
District Police Kargil will organise an Archery Camp in summers to train and polish the marksmanship of the local archers so that they can compete at National and International levels also.
This was stated by the guest of honour SP Shailendra Mishra.
 He added that police Kargil will start Kargil Super 10 on the patterns of Super 30 of Bihar and police will bear all the expenses on the coaching, counseling etc of the super 10 till their exams.
Assuring all type of support by the Indian Army to district police Kargil for the successful implementation of super 10 Brigadier Kaushik appreciated the effort of the SSP Kargil.
He announced that Indian Army will organize a Kargil District Central Archery Tournament in the coming days and will try to uplift the talents in future. He assured that few sets of modern archery will be provided by the Army to polish the talent of the youths in Modern Archery so that they can excel at National and International level.
He assured the organizer of the event that there demands will be fulfilled and completed on priority basis in the next financial year. Later the guests distributed prizes amongst the winner and runner up team of the tournament.
