Govt making every effort for the safety of life property of people: Padder

KULGAM, Apr 3: Minister of State for Forests, Irrigation and Flood Control, Abdul Majeed Paddar today visited various landslides hit areas of Kulgam district including Manzgam, Avil, Dabpora, Mandan and Damhal Hanjipora and assessed the damages caused to the residential houses there.
He also visited Sub District Hospital Damhal Hanjipora and Asnoorabad Girls School which have been damaged due to incessant rains.
Interacting with the locals of the area, the Minister assured them that the government is making every effort to provide succor to the affectees and after assessing the damages caused to property appropriate compensation will also be released in their favour.
The Minister was accompanied SDM Kulgam, DFO Kulgam, Executive Engineer PHE, I&FC besides concerned officers of the district.
