Speaker orders elections to 3 Financial Committees of LA

JAMMU, Apr 5: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta has ordered elections for 11 members each of the three Financial Committees of House of the J&K Legislative Assembly.
As per the notification issued in this regard the last date for making nominations is April 13, 2015 upto 3.00 PM, the date for scrutiny of nominations is April 17, 2015, upto 3.00 PM, the last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 20, 2015, up to 3 P.M and the date on which poll shall, if necessary, be held is April 23, 2015 up to 3 P.M.
The Speaker has appointed Special Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly, M R Singh as the Returning officer for the purpose in terms of Regulation No. 2(1) (e) of the said Regulations.
