Normalcy returns to Narbal

SRINAGAR, Apr 22: Normalcy today returned to Narbal and its adjoining areas after repeated clashes following the killing of Suhail Ahmad Sofi by police on Saturday.
Shops, schools, government and semi government offices today opened in the township. Public transport was also plying normally on the roads.
A large number of people were seen busy in purchasing different items in the market. There was no major deployment of police and CRPF in the township.
Suhail was killed by police during a protest demonstration on Saturday. The two cops including an ASI have already been arrested on charges of not following the standard operation procedure in control the mob.
A magisterial probe has also been ordered by state government to probe actual cause of his death.
