Wrong cannot become right..!

And as India tries to justify the murder of Mohammed Iqlakh who was lynched for eating what the majority in the country don't eat I see a trend happening which if not stopped can lead to a disaster with the Prime Minister telling the world to invest in India, because wrong cannot become right even if the majority think so.
The law of the land judges what is right and what is wrong and not a bunch of people who feel they can force their views on the rest.
In a housing society in Andheri where a former chairman and secretary seeing the illegal extensions taking place in the society and also seeing their own committee members doing the same got it passed in the AGM to put a stop to these encroachments. Legal notices were sent through a reputable lawyer to the encroachers who also included a former municipal officer from the buildings proposal department. The committee who include five encroachers brought a no confidence motion against the upright and bold chairman and secretary then called an AGM packed it with all the twenty four members who had encroached and passed a resolution that the action taken taken by the chairman and secretary was wrong and that the money paid for the legal notices would have to be paid by the now ex chairman and secretary!
In other words saying the legal notices were illegal or to put it more plainly saying that it was legal to encroach and illegal to stop the land grabbing!
How blatant have we become as a nation?
Is this the country were Mr Modi wants foreign companies to invest?
Where justice will not be judged by what is right and wrong but who has the bigger number of people behind them!
I sincerely hope Mr Modi or his colleagues see this column. I hope they will take action against a rot that exists deep within us of feeling that with a gang behind or huge money to bribe we can get away with murder!
The world is looking at the murder of the man who ate beef, I hope the country takes note of this municipal officer and others like him who with blackmail and criminal intimidation think that wrong can become right by using the majority card..!
