Govt High Sec School Nagrota wins opening tie

JAMMU, Oct 6: Junior District Kabaddi Championship was inaugurated by Rajan Sharma Divisional Sports Officer of J&K State Sports Council here today
Those who were present on the occasion, District secretary Jammu District Kabaddi Association Dinesh Gupta, Inderjeet Sharma Distt. President, Ravi Singh Manager Indoor Stadium, Anil Modi Org. Secretary, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Sanjeet Kumar, Anil Sharma Coach, Ravinder Singh Bali Coach, Ankush Gupta Coach, Sudesh Sharma Coach and other senior player of J&K Police as well as the Junior Player of the Jammu District.
The Championship will be held from October 6 to 8 . All the matches are going on ‘Mat’ so that the budding players of Jammu District can get exposer for the National events. In the said Junior District Championship 24 teams in Boys and 8 eight team Girls section are participating which accounts 400 players and officials .
The detail: Boys Section: BVM School won the match by 32 points from Guru Nanak High School. Shiv Public School won the match by 19 points from High School Nagrota. Bhore Camp Hr. Secondary School won the match by 22 points from Janto Model Academy. Unique Public School won the match by 24 points from Bharti Shiksha. Jagriti Mission school won the match by 4 points from S.L. Memorial Model School.
Girls section: Govt High Sec. School Nagrota won the match by 13 points from GCW Parade. K.V No.1 Gandhi Nagar won the match by 40 points from Vishav Bharti School. K.N. No.1 Gandhi Nagar won the match by 19 points From Stephan International School. Vishav Bharti won the match by 9 points from Govt.Sr. Sec. School Nagrota.
