Australian High Commissioner meets Guv

JAMMU, Nov 24: Patrick Suckling, Australian High Commissioner to India called on Governor N N Vohra, here at the Raj Bhavan today. He was accompanied by Jenny Grant Curnow, Counsellor.
The Governor discussed with Ambassador Suckling the high potential of Australian companies establishing commercial ventures in J&K, especially in the arenas of sheep farming for superior meat and wool development, dairy farming and production of cheese and milk products, poultry and fish farming, fruit grading, sampling and processing units etc.
The Governor also pointed out to the rich possibility of Australian experts assisting the establishment of vocational education and training enterprises in the state.
