5-day judicial custody for militant supporters

JAMMU, Nov 24 (JNF): Court today sent two militant supporters arrested in connection with Udhampur BSF convoy attack to five days judicial custody.
Special Judge NIA YP Kotwal today sent Khursheed Ahmed Ittoo and Fayaz Ahmed Itoo alias Fayaz to judicial custody for the five days.
Today NIA produced both the accused in Court and filed application seeking judicial custody of as custodial interrogation of the accused is not required. The facts disclosed by the accused were required to be verified.
Court after going through application of NIA allowed the application and sent both the accused to judicial custody for a period five days up to October 28, 2015 and sent them to Kot-Bhalwal Jail, Jammu.
It is worthwhile to mention here that investigations conducted by NIA revealed that Khursheed Ahmed Ittoo used his Maruti-800 car as pilot vehicle of the truck in which militants Mohammed Naved and Mohammad Noman travelled from Kulgam to Udhampur to execute the attack on the BSF convoy in August this year.
