Inter Village Kabaddi Competition organised

DODA, Sep 27 : Army organised an Inter Village Kabaddi Competition at Doda.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of locals, students, Sarpanches & School Principals of participating teams at Sports Stadium Doda. Total 1000 locals witnessed the inaugural matches.
The matches will last for three days with semi finals & with the finals being played on 28 September 2016. Highly motivated 16 teams from various villages & schools are participating in the competition. Participating teams put up thrilling & skilled performance captivating the audience.
Competition is aimed at promoting Kabaddi as sports in Doda & select the best team for the Pir Pranjal Kabaddi League scheduled in second week of November 2016. This Initiative by the Army is aimed to further drive and inspire their peer group and local youth to achieve excellence in sports. Locals of Doda expressed their thanks to the Army for organising the event.
