Inter-school athletics meet of Reasi commences

REASI, Sep 27: Annual inter-school district level athletics meet of Reasi in all the three age groups of under-14, under-17 and under-19, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), started today at Sports Stadium, here.
The opening day witnessed competition in girls section. As many as 230 female athletes, representing 26 educational institutions of the district, have reported for participation in different field and track events. Earlier, the participating athletes were motivated by district officer, Dr S S Chib.
The events were officiated by Ashok Kumar, Ashoka Kumari, Toru Kumar, Kuldeep Raj, Romesh Chander, Saroj Bala, Gurmeet Singh, Pushkar Raj, Rani Devi and Jaswant Singh.
