Paloura college outplay GCET College in kabaddi

JAMMU, Sep 27: GDC Akhnoor defeated GDC Poonch in the Inter-Collegiate Volleyball (Men ) Championship 2016-17 which is being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at Sports Stadium, University of Jammu here.
GDC Akhnoor beat GDC Poonch by 25- 23, 25 – 13, GDC Ramnagar beat GDC Thanamandi by 25 – 15, 25 – 17, GDC Khilotrian beat ASCOMS by 25 – 21, 25 -12, GDC Kathua beat GDC Mendhar by 25 – 11, 25 – 20, YCET beat GDC R.S. Pura by 25 – 22, 19 – 25, 15 -7, GDC Khour beat New Age Degree Collee Phinter by 25 – 22, 25 – 20.
The matches were conducted under the supervision of Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu prominent among Monika Prof. Fateh Mohamad, Harinder Pal Singh, Shafqit Hussain, Raj Kumar, Dr Tanvir Hussain, Mehmood Ahmad, Ashok Kumar, Mandeep Singh, Ankush Sharma, Dr. Yar Jee Koul, Ashwani Bali and Devinder Singh were present at the venue of competitions.
The matches were officiated by Ramesh Singh Jasrotia, Amarjeet Singh, Mulkh Raj, Amit Sharma, Roshan Lal Sharma, Mannu Singh Pawar, Priya Choudhary, Reeika Jamwal and Rohani Devi.
Kabaddi (Men) Championship 2016-17: GDC Paloura defeated GCET College by 38 points (52 – 14).
GDC Kholotrian beat GDC Surankot by 10 points (22- 12). PG Dept defezated GDC Bhaderwah by 22 points (31- 08). GDC Kathua beat GDC Hiranagar by 42 points (57 – 09). GDC Rajouri outplayed GDC Ramnagar by 15 points (29-14). SMPR College of Commerce defeated GDC Reasi by 06 points (40- 34).
MAM College beat GDC Bishnah by 22 points (33- 11).
The matches were officials Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Ankush Chib, Ankush Gupta, Vishal Jain, Amandeep Singh ,Karpreet Singh, Kashav Singh and Gagan Kumar.
