SP Traffic reviews functioning of traffic deptt

SRINAGAR, Feb 13: The traffic police department on Monday held a review meeting under the chairmanship of newly appointed Senior SSP Traffic City, Sargun Shukla.
The meeting according to officials was attended by Sajad Ahmad Shah Addl. SP Traffic City Srinagar, Salim Jehangir Dy SP Traffic City South Srinagar, Muhammad Nasir, Dy SP Traffic City North Srinagar besides all DTI’s and SO’s of traffic City Srinagar.
The officials said that at the outset of meeting SP Traffic City Srinagar got introduced to all the officers of traffic City Srinagar and apprised the participants about the aim of convening the meeting.
“The basic endeavor of the meeting was delineation of the priorities and imperatives for the City Traffic Police,” officials added.
According to the officials the participants apprised the SP Traffic City Srinagar about the various issues and problems which shall become the points of amelioration to ensure better traffic regulation and management in coming weeks.
Officials said that the meeting ended with a word of appreciation and encouragement for all participants and a resolve to use technology, education and enforcement in Traffic police widely.
