Inspectors promoted as DySP
JAMMU, Mar 16: The state government has accorded sanction to the placement of the Inspectors (Telecom) as Incharge Deputy Superintendents of Police (Telecom) in their own pay and grade with the benefit of charge allowance as admissible under rules for a period of six months or till these posts are filled up on a regular basis on the recommendations of DPC/PSC whichever is earlier.

Sources told that Ravinder Kumar, 25401 NGO, Altaf Ahmad, 39281 NGO and Ghulam Mohi-ud- Din, 2537INGO have been placed as DSP purely on stop- gap basis.

Meanwhile, Wakeel Ahmad Batt, Junior Scale KAS officer, presently posted as District Information Officer, Rajouri has been transferred and posted as Administrator, Auqaf Islamia, Jammu, on ex-cadre basis.
