J&K Police shines in State Wrestling championship

JAMMU, Mar 19: Two days long J&K State Wrestling Championship organised by J&K Wrestling Association was concluded at Akhara Shalimar here.

Sunil Sharma MOS Sports is the chief guest on the occasion of closing ceremony

About 150 wrestlers from all over districts Jammu, Kathua, Doda , Udhampur, Rajori , Samba Srinagar ,Anantnag, Baramulla .

Welcome address was presented by Dushyant Sharma, President J&K Wrestling Association and vote of thanks by Ajay Vaid General Secretary J&K Wrestling Association .

The Minister was addressed a t the occasion that the Banjrangi Akhara Shalimar Road Jammu will be repaired by way of fabrication and got full support to J&K Wrestling Association. The minister stated that the summer camp of Wrestling will be held at Chenab Valley Viz-a-viz Doda Kishtwar , Bhaderwah . He also stated that the Wrestling be made strong in all respect and avoid the youngsters from the drug addicted . Overall Championship goes to J&K Police.

Ashvani Kumar and Anil Choudhary. 61 KG: Kuldeep Singh, Vicku Sharma and Rajinder Singh. 65 KG: Bushan Mehra, Anil Kumar and Irshad Mohd. 70 Kg : Sunny Sharma, Arif Khan and Ajay Bharat. 74 KG :Munir Hussain, Ranjit Singh and Pawan Kumar. 86 KG: Rajesh Sharma, Liyaqat Ali and Nadeem Ahmad. 97 kg: Roshan Lal, Bahadur Khan and Shakti Singh. 126 kg: Ishaq Mohd, Diler Khan and Shubam Singh .
