NC-Cong coordination meet discusses poll strategy

SRINAGAR, Mar 19: A joint coordination meeting of National Conference and Congress leaders, legislators, segment in-charges and office bearers was held at National Conference head office here.
The senior leaders of both parties were present in the meeting. National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah, working president Omar Abdullah, Pradesh Congress committee chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir and National Conference general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar.
Other leaders of both parties addressed the meeting that was held to review preparations and strategy for the upcoming by-elections to the two Parliament Seats of Srinagar and Anantnag.
Besides senior leaders, legislators and assembly segment heads, youth leaders and office bearers of National Conference and Congress were also part of the meeting.
Leaders of both parties discussed the current political situation and also reviewed joint preparations in Srinagar and Anantnag parliamentary segments and said both parties would work in close quarters to ensure success of their candidates in Anantnag and Srinagar parliament segments.
