Air India faulty planning for losses

Kashmir Times. Dated: 3/20/2017 11:05:01 PM

Dear Editor,
The flight operations are withdrawn from Delhi to Rajkot and Rajkot to Delhi by Air India i.e. March 2, 2017, as it was incurring losses. This is due to the faulty planning of the airline. It was using an aircraft that could accommodate 40-odd passengers only and mostly it was full daily. If Air India cannot make it profitable I am sure a private airline can make this flights profitable by proper planning and research as Rajkot flight from Delhi serves nearby towns cities like Jamnagar, Junagadh, Gondal, Chorwad etc. AI has no accountability and no responsibility is ever fixed on its staff officers for the various problems the airline faces.
