SRINAGAR, Mar 27: Provincial Youth National Conference President Kashmir Salman Ali Sagar on Monday exhorted youth to play their crucial role in isolating divisive and communal PDP-BJP combine and strengthen the secular forces.
Addressing youth workers at Moti Mahal, Akhoon Mohalla, Kachroon Mehal and various other interior areas around Dal Lake, Salman Sagar said that anti-Muslim and anti-Kashmir forces have taken centre stage in the state politiy and it is incumbent upon all to stop their menacing advance anymore. He also addressed meetings in Faqir Gujree and Nishat.
“To check their tentacles, we have to strengthen National Conference and preserve secular fabric of Kashmir”, Salman Sagar said and called upon youth to come forward in a big way and vote and support Dr Farooq Abdullah in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
He referred to the atrocities committed across Kashmir, especially last year and said hundreds of youth have been killed and blinded. A spree of arrests has been let loose and to check this anti-people campaign, the people will have to isolate PDP all over the Valley.
