Indian, Pak troops trade fire on Rajouri LoC
JAMMU, Apr 16: Pakistani troops targeted forward Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) and resorted to heavy firing in Lam sector of Rajouri district today.

Official sources said that the Pakistan troops attacked the Indian forward Posts in Lam sector of Rajouri district this morning. As the posts were targeted for at-least ten minutes, the Pakistani troops used Light Machine Guns and Heavy Machine Guns.

Indian troops guarding the LoC initially did not retaliate but when Pakistani troops continued firing, Indian jawans also took positions and fired back resulting in heavy exchanges of fire.

No injury or casualty has been reported and searches have been intensified in the area as attempt to push infiltrators into the Indian territory under the shade of ceasefire violation cannot be ruled out.
