NEW YORK (USA), Apr 23: India's chief selector MSK Prasad is unlikely to celebrate his 42nd birthday with his family on Monday.
Interestingly, the former India wicketkeeper is sharing his birthday with Sachin Tendulkar, the greatest batsman India has ever produced.
"MSK will be travelling tomorrow", the wife Prasanthi, speaking exclusively over her mobile from Vijaywada said.
"Great cricketers were born on this day and I am proud to be the wife of MSK", she said.
Coincidentally, Prasanthi is also a doctor like Sachin's wife, Anjali, though Anjali has not remained in her medical profession now. "I am practicing here in Vijaywada and am happy to be in this profession", she added.
"My daughter Anjani (named after Lord Hanuman's mother) is in plus 2 now and preparing for her medical entrance".
"If my husband (MSK) is on duty on Monday, it is OK. Had he been not on national assignment, we would have celebrated his birthday by visiting our favourite temple here", she added.
Sachin's birthday will also be celebrated by the Legends Club in Mumbai, though he is not likely to be present there, confirmed Madhav Apte, the club president.
The ICC's Elite Panel umpire Kumar Dharmasena was also born on this day.
