Kohli seeks inquiry into Reasi incident

JAMMU, Apr 25: Minister for Animal Husbandry, Sheep and Fisheries Abdul Gani Kohli Tuesday directed the civil and police administration Reasi to inquire into the recent incident in the district and take action against the culprits.
Kohli said no such incident could be tolerated in a civilized society and that tough action would be taken against the culprits so that no such incident could take place in future.
He said the law enforcing agencies were there to check illegal transportation of bovines and nobody should be and could be allowed to take the law in his/her own hands.
The minister said the government would act tough against the elements trying to vitiate the atmosphere. He said the state government was custodian of the security of the people and every step would be taken to ensure security of the peace loving citizens of the state.
