Sambhavi-Snowy pair wins Badminton girls doubles title
JAMMU, May 14: Both Sambhavi and Snowy clinched the 4-10 year girls doubles title in the ongoing Dr Pradeep Sankhyadar Memorial Badminton Tournament, organized by the Young's Badminton Club at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.

In the final, the pair of Sambhavi and Snowy defeated Skydeep and Suhani in straight sets of 21-16, 21-15. In 4-10 year girls' singles event, Snowy shall take on Skydeep.

Earlier, in the semifinals, played today, Snowy defeated his doubles partner, Suhani 21-15, 21-04 while Skydeep trounced Sambhavi 16-21, 21-17, 21-13.

Meanwhile, the 4-10 year boys' doubles title went to the pair of Bhavdeep and Udhyan, who beat Shourya and Ashuman 21-12, 21-15 in the final. In 4-10 year singles event, Shourya and Bhavdeep Singh have made it to the final. In the semifinals, decided today, Shourya beat Harsh Sharma 21-03, 21-10 while Bhavdeep beat Udhyan 22-20, 21-14.

The matches were conducted, under the supervision of SAI Badminton coach Satpal Sharma SAI, by the technical penal comprising Puran Chand, Suresh Kumar, Aman Badyal, Sunil Bakshi.
