Cop injured in grenade blast

SRINAGAR, May 18: Suspected militants lobbed a grenade at Police Station Safakadal resulting in the injuries to a police constable.

Police sources said that the grenade was lobbed at police station that exploded with a bang, creating panic in the area. “An SPO, Sameer Ahmed suffered minor injuries. The window panes of the some of the residential houses and police station suffered damage due to the blast,” said an official.
