Quranic recitation Assemblies organises across Kargil
KARGIL, June 18: According to Islamic history, the holy month of Ramzan also known as the “Quranic Spring”, during which Quran was revealed on Prophet Muhammad S.a.w. to guide the humanity towards truth and eternal prosperity.

In the wake of holy month of ramzan, Muslims across Kargil district these days are organizing Quranic recitation assemblies in the mosques and other religious institutions. These assemblies were attended by hundreds of people including the youths, children and aged persons.

In Kargil town the major Quranic recitation assemblies held in Islamia School Kargil premises where Anjuman e Jamiat e Ulema Isna Ashariya Kargil and In Jamia Masjid Kargil Imam Khomeini memorial Trust are organizing these assemblies.

While as Zainabia Women Welfare Society is organizing such assembly for women at Indoor Stadium Kargil.

However, a prominent Quranic reciter (Qari) from Iran Haj Hassan Mukhtari has been invited to give special teaching and tips regarding Quranic recitation for the younger generation in Kargil.

While interacting with people Haj Hassan Mukhtari said that he is very happy to see the interest of the younger generation towards Quranic teaching which very much required in the rein of ignorance.

Such gatherings also are also going on in Sankoo, Suru, TSG, Drass, Wakha, Chiktan and Zanaskar.
