ActIT Jammu, Projects, Java,, C# Training Jammu
JAMMU, July 11 (JNF): The work in State High Court Jammu wing as well as District Court complex remain affected due to non-appearance of Advocates as J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu has decided to suspend the work in protest against militant attack on Amarnath pilgrims in Kashmir, last night.

As a mark of protest, J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu decided to suspend the work in all Courts including Tribunals today and appealed all the members of the legal fraternity for suspension of work in respective courts. The work in all the Courts throughout the Jammu province remained suspended to express solidarity with the victims of terrorism and reiterate commitment to the nation.

The members of the Association staged a massive protest in and outside the Court Complex against the killings of innocent Amarnath pilgrims and took out a procession led by Prem Sadotra General Secretary from Court Complex to Main Janipur Road and held another massive demonstration in Janipur – Amphalla Road.

The delegation of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu headed by Sachin Gupta, Vice President also participated in the meeting of civil society called by Divisional Commissioner at Guest House, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The members of the Bar lodged a strong protest against the failure of the administration to secure the precious lives of Amarnath pilgrims belonging to different parts of country. The J&K High Court Bar Association declared that it could go to any extent and go to Kashmir to fight anti national forces and protect and advance the country’s paramount national interest.

“We will not allow third partition of India on religious grounds,” the association said.

The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu expressed concern over the order of State Human Commission directing the Jammu and Kashmir government to pay Rs 10 lakhs to an over ground worker of the separatists and stated that such an order has all the potential of demoralizing the security forces and undermining the institution of the Army, which is known the world over as the most professional institution. The Association said that the said order could promote the cult of stone pelting in Kashmir and hurt the national cause.

J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu demanded Rs 25 lakhs ex-gratia to each of kin of pilgrims and Rs 10 lakhs each to those who were injured during the reign of orgy of death unleashed by militants.

President J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu Senior Advocate BS Slathia while addressing a press conference observed one minute silence to express solidarity with the victims of attack. Slathia in the strong words condemned the attack as a dark spot on humanity. He further criticized the role of higher police administration who are spreading rumours against the incident only to defend themselves by saying that bus was stray bus and was not registered with board.

The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu rejected as spurious the assertion of the vested interests in the administration that the bus carrying the pilgrims was unregistered. J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu said it was just an attempt of the government to deflect the attention of the wounded nation from its utter failure to provide foolproof security to the pilgrims.
