Mexican Ambassador as role-model for Indian politicians

Dear Editor,
Prime Minister Narender Modi in his forthcoming edition of Man-ki-Baat should include mention of a unique example of austerity and simplicity adopted by Mexican Ambassador in India who has decided to use an especially decorated ordinary three-wheeler auto-rickshaw in place of super-costly luxury car. Central government should select some particular model of small economical car which may only be allowed to be purchased by central and state governments, their departments, ministries and undertakings. Selecting a particular model will drastically cut cost of spares, repair and maintenance. Those willing to use model other than the selected one, may do so but from their own pocket with no travel-reimbursement of any kind allowed at public expense.
