Sunil Sharma is new President of Tax Bar Association

JAMMU, July 15 (JNF): Election of Tax Bar Association of Jammu was held in which Advocate Sunil Sharma declared as President of Tax Bar Association Jammu, today.

Total votes polled 79 out of 80 votes. In a straight contest Advocate Sunil Sharma defeated his opponent Advocate Vijay Sharma by a margin of 9 votes by securing 44 votes as against 35 secured by Vijay Sharma.

Advocate TS Pathania was elected as Senior Vice President, Nishchint Pachnanda as Vice President, Ankush Sawhney as General Secretary and Atul Chanyal as Joint Secretary/Treasurer.

The results of election declared today returned youngest candidate Advocate Sunil Sharma, who belongs to family lawyers, with his father Advocate KN Sapolia being among senior most members of J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu and his younger brother Advocate Vikram Sharma Ex-General Secretary J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu. The fraternity of Tax Bar ceases great hope in the dynamic leadership of Advocate Sunil Sharma and reposed full support to newly elected team for mitigating the grievances of the members of Tax Bar as also for propagating the future interest of the fraternity and the institution.

When contacted, Advocate Sunil Sharma, credited his victory to blessings of elder members and vowed to further raise the image of Tax Bar and to work in harmony with for J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu in that direction.
