NH thrown open for traffic

BANIHAL, Jul 16: The Jammu-Srinagar national highway, which was closed due to landslides, was thrown open for traffic near Ramban district.
“The highway this morning closed after landslide triggered near Khooni Nullah in Ramsoo area of Ramban,” police sources here said.
They said that police, BRO men were on job and cleared the road of landslide around 1100 hrs.
“The cavalcade of Amarnath yatra was also stuck on the highway but cleared after traffic resumed,” police said. They said that long traffic jams are on the highway and vehicles are moving at snail’s pace.
