Combine Cricket Club Doda crushes Natnoo Cricket Club

DODA, July 16: Combine Cricket Club Doda crushed Natnoo Cricket Club by 28 runs and advanced into the next stage of the ongoing All India 13th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2017, being played at Sports Stadium Doda.

The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Unit Doda.

Batting first, Combine Cricket Club Doda made 168 runs for the loss of 03 wickets in alloted 16 overs game. Ved Parkash played a splendid inning of 78 runs for his team, while Ashok Sharma made 25 runs. From Natnoo Cricket Club team, Bilal Natnoo, Kewal Kotwal and Vinay Manhas shared 01 wicket each.

In the second inning, Natnoo Cricket Club team could not chashed the given target and score only 140 runs for the loss of 08 wickets in 16 overs. Sunny Parihar was the top scorer with 48 runs, while Mohinder made 20 runs. From Combine Cricket Club Doda, Jaffer and Babar shared 03 wickets each, while Ved Parkash took 01 wicket.

Later on Ved Parkash of Combine Cricket Club Doda team was adjudged as Man of the Match for his best all round performance who was given prize by Chief Guest Dr Sajjad Hussain Kraipak along with Syed Riaz Ahmed and Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev.

The match was officiated by Vijay Partap Singh and Ifroz Rather as Umpires, while Milind Gore maintained the scorecard.
